Dear all,

After learning appearance of animals at classroom, students should explore to country sides. Younger students have difficulties to click on website with English. We introduce a website from Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden. Luckily, it provides an animal slide show. It is attractive to see lovely plants, wild pigs and some crocodiles.
Here is the website.
I hope you will love this quiet moment to live with nature.

Interactive Map: Silk Road of China

Dear all,

There is a long history in China. It is an important time for Chineses
to exchange goods during Hong Dynasty. Silk Road is mainly for people
to communicate and exchange of culture to outer world.
Chineses and western people could exchange goods and make influence on
daily lives.
I have chosen four cities to express present status and development. You can
take a trip to feel it.

I find attractive and updated photos from this website. http://iln.cite.hku.hk/com/1374/users/pschan7/sandduneinChina.jpg

Some foreigners created a blog to their schedule and emotional desire to visit this Silk Road.

Ideas: Blog Design Principles

Dear all,
Our blog's designs express with a bit of our own personality.
A well-designed blog is easy to read and easy to navigate.

We can consider white space an important graphic element
when working on a blog's layout. Usability refers to design
features that enable something to be user-friendly.

I got these principles that are from Biz Stone. He is the author of
a book " A Hyerconnected Peek at the World of Weblogs".

Digital photo story: Ocean Park

Ideas of our storyboard

Dear all,

Theme of our storyboard is “On the Farm”. We adopt some guidances from a
English teacher resource handbook. Publisher of the handbook is from a Educational
Publishing House company.

Local primary two students have to learn living things. Content of local English curriculum closely relates to students’ daily lives. Some students may keep some pets at home.
Therefore, they have realistic experiences for sharing how to keep pets in school.
Development of collaboration and communication skills are at the heart of learning targets. Photographs of animal homes provide opportunities for younger students to think, talk and make comparsion.
We think that learning experience in school should be funny and creative especially for
younger students. We decide to create a colourful farm. Realistic sound of hens, cows, pigs
and ducks encourages students to listen and imagine animal behaviour. Finally, song of “Old Macdonald had a farm” is added in our storyboard. It encourages students to sing easily in classroom.
